Hi,
Regarding your questions, this will depends on your exchange partner. Some will like to have the real posted FDC on the day of issue, some will prefer just normal cover and some will like the mint FDC.
Normally I just send out the FDC. If send FDC in another cover will be another expenses, right? hehe..
I can't get special postmark for the FDC here, so I just send the FDC and the post office will cancel it by machine cancellation or hand cancellation.
If you can get special postmark at your post office then that will be great. Just sometimes Post Malaysia's worker will place another postmark on top of your special postmark. That is quite stupid and angry things for the Philatelist. But no choice..
