Hereby, I would like to show 3 very beautiful FDCs from USA. Frankly, I don't collect FDC unless they have pictorial cancellation with regards to my themes. However, its different when I got these FDCs. They are just so appealing; its a work of art. Just check out the cachet. I guess my readers got to be the judge of this. Please enjoy:

As promise, I will post all the interesting covers that Ive received. To be frank, Ive received some of the covers quite sometime ago but just couldnt find the time to post them. Really sorry for that and promise to make up for that.



This is one of the interesting bird cover from my dear friend Jean-Claude as it features the full set of owls and decoy ducks. A really good bird cover with the correct postage (correct me if Im wrong) but its weird that US Postal actually allows the usage of stamps from 1978(owls) and 1985(decoy ducks).

Anyway, thanks alot my dear friend for this very very beautiful cover with two complete set of Birds. Looking forward to many more friendly exchanges with you.

Thank You, Alex for these very beautiful Bird Postmarks from USA. It was really a pleasant surprise to get these beautiful postmarks that relates to my themes. Can't seem to thank you enough. Anyway, the highlight of this post would be the cover used to send the postmarks.

As you all can see the cover was opened for KKDN (Ministry of Security Affairs) check. The second pictures shows the back of the cover with the signature of the officer. Too bad he/she didn't include his/her name. I'm truly shocked to see this and wasn't sure on what was the purpose of the check. Would definitely like some comment from my readers on this.

Bird Postmarks

Its surely a BIG BIG SURPRISE for me to get 3 covers from Jean-Claude, all in the same week. As always all your covers are very very beautiful and again I don't really know how to thank you for all the beautiful materials you send me. All I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Below are a few of many materials that I got from my dear friend:

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU PREMA for all this beautiful FDCs and postcards you got me. I cant seem to find the right words to say but I truly appreciate all your effort and support for my sometimes crazy obsession on philately.

Ive to admit there are times when I feel tired and sad to see my precious stamps get toned or attacked by fungus. Suprise? Dont be... Its actually a dilemma face by all tropical countries' philatelists. Toning is rather normal in countries like Malaysia thanks to her humid weather. A lot of care and attention have to be given and at times, it just drive you crazy to see stamps get toned or damaged.

I guess one of the reasons that keep pushing me towards philately would be the enormous support I got from my fiancee, family (Thanks mummy for being so patient with me all this while) and not forgetting friends mattering not whether they are philatelist or not.

I know Prema has gone into loads of trouble for getting me these FDCs and postcards especially when you are not a philatelist... I guess THANK YOU is all I can say and thanks for the support to keep me going.

Thanks Jean-Claude for yet another beautiful cover. Certainly, you have send me so many beautiful covers, stamps, FDCs and postcards. Seriously, I can't thank u enough and sorry I couldn't post the stamps u send me. Life is certainly very busy with marriage preparations. Will need some time to give the stamps a photo shoot... LOL.. However, rest assure all the materials are kept safely.

Both the postcard and stamp depicts the X-WING starfighter from the ever famous STARWARS. Simply superb...
