This is a lovely Poland cover with Eagle cancelation from my dear friend, Lis. As you can see the address, it was send to my parent's place. Simply love materials with regards to Eagles . I really can't thank you enough and hopefully we will have more friendly exchanges in the future.

Hopefully, all my blog followers will keep me in mind if you ever come across any philatelic materials regarding Eagles/Birds of Prey. As usual, will provide materials of the same quality from Malaysia. Come on, lets help each other grow our collection. For me, thats the best part of philately; helping each other and more importantly learning from each other.

Bird Cover From Iran

I received this beautiful bird cover last year thanks to my dear friend, Hamid. Definitely one of my favorite cover as it is not just a bird cover but more importantly a cover depicting the Ospreys (Bird of Preys). Love the postmark also though one of the postmark on the right isn't clear. I guess philatelist are humans also. Errors do happen. LOL

The pair of ospreys is actually a joint issue between Iran and Portugal. Hopefully, someone can send me a cover from Portugal. OMG, I know how greedy I can be but if anyone is able to help me, please mail me as I will prepare a good cover for you too.

Looking forward to receive more bird of prey or pigeon covers as they are my themes. However, as of now, I'm very much focus on materials with regards to Eagles. Hope of of u will help me grow my beloved collection.

Another very beautiful bird cover from Taiwan that I got quite sometime ago. This is actually a posted FDC with Computer Typed address. As always, Bird Covers are my favorite mattering not if they are contriving or not. Looking forward to more covers from Taiwan as Taiwan Postal Authorities has never failed to come out with lovely bird stamps from time to time.

Another very beautiful bird cover from Belgium that I got last year. This is definitely an example of a good cover with pictorial cancellation. Frankly, I prefer First Day cancellation to be stamped on a normal cover with the correct postage rather than a FDC. As always, I'm really grateful to have so many friends who never fail to surprise me with beautiful covers and other philatelic materials. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

Thank You, Alex for these very beautiful Bird Postmarks from USA. It was really a pleasant surprise to get these beautiful postmarks that relates to my themes. Can't seem to thank you enough. Anyway, the highlight of this post would be the cover used to send the postmarks.

Cover (Front)

Back

As you all can see the cover was opened for KKDN (Ministry of Security Affairs) check. The second pictures shows the back of the cover with the signature of the officer. Too bad he/she didn't include his/her name. I'm truly shocked to see this and wasn't sure on what was the purpose of the check. Would definitely like some comment from my readers on this.

Bird Postmarks

Above are the beautiful bird postmarks from USA. They are simply lovely and hope to have more postmarks from all over the world. OMG.. I can be so greedy sometimes, or mayb most of the time. LOL
