Birds From Vietnam

Dear Can,
Thanks for 2 very beautiful MNH complete set of Birds and again a very very beautiful cover from Vietnam. Simply marvelous and definitely an asset to my Bird Collection. Thanks again for all the effort and help. We will continue to help each other grow our beloved collection.

Cover

Cover with stamps from Vietnam-Singapore Joint issue 2008 (Durian and Dragon Fruit) and yet again stamp from the Centenary of Nguyen Khuyen's Death issue (2009). Love the cover alot especially the joint issue stamps.

The joint issue stamps was issued on 18th November 2008. Over the last decade, the bilateral ties between Singapore and Vietnam have strengthened rapidly and both countries cooperate closely within ASEAN and at other international arena. 2008 marks the 35th year of diplomatic relations with Vietnam since 1973, and in this joint stamp issue with Vietnam, the theme “Fruits” was chosen and the very well-known King of Fruits, Durian and its equal, Dragon fruit, whose flower, named Queen of the Night, are featured.

I've covered the Centenary of Nguyen Khuyen's Death issue (2009) in my previous post. Please enjoy: http://ronlovestamps.blogspot.com/2009/03/first-posted-fdc-from-vietnam.html
